Only SIE moved to California, the head branch in Japan should still have complete control
avatar
I'm suprised nobody from Sony has stepped in to stop this madness yet, it can't be good for their profits or their image
avatar
Well Sony, have fun with all the fags and trannies that are now suddenly going to buy your games. Oh wait...
avatar
Emily...the crowd has gathered here...once again they fail to see
avatar
Welp, I guess I'm skipping SK7.
avatar
Fuck Sony for screwing over devs like this
avatar
IIRC, Steam said that it planned to ban lewd games that had all the characters be 18+ arbitrarily in high school settings, so the game hiding the ages isn't a free pass, but Senran Kagura probably makes too much money for Steam to actually care.
avatar
avatar
Being trans and being depressed probably has a lot of overlap, hence why so many trans people are mental snowflakes. I don't think the 41% is solely due to dick chopping regret, but it probably doesn't help much. Not every depressed person is trans, and probably not vice versa, but there are probably a ton of overlapping factors.
avatar
2: We ALREADY have people outspoken about regretting their transitions. Ain't seen any who did the chop yet, but then again there's that 41% suicide rate so that may be it.
avatar
1: Lobotomies re great, I will fucking fight you.
avatar
A decade from now we'll have a lot of scarred people that regret buying into a certain fad when they were teens. Like today's former emo kids, but with genital mutilation.
avatar
Lobotomies are the perfect analogy to sex change surgery.
avatar
That's ignoring the fact that surgery isn't a viable tactic for any other mental illness I can think of. We used to have lobotomies, but those turned out to be bad.
avatar
Trannies are in a weird situation where they don't want to be called mentally ill, but have to be called mentally ill to justify health insurance payment for surgery. Sadly, in current year + 4 or whatever, people don't care about logical inconsistencies for the sake of feelings.
avatar
Trannies should just be banned, and their 'sexuality' should be considered for what it truly is: a mental illness.
avatar
I'd rather they not go down that rabbit hole period
avatar
Well trannying DOES sterilize you anyway so, guess they're just making sure the fairysexuals don't accidentally reproduce before they transition.
avatar
Japan saying people having to be sterilized before identifying as the other gender is a great idea. It's not like completely transitioned people can make children naturally (though once nanomachines are a legit thing, that might change)
avatar
womp womp
avatar
That's hilarious

avatar
Added a latest post sidebar and edited the CSS to actually take you to the latest post. Not sure why it refuses to go to the right, but I'm gonna work on it.
avatar
Since the Vita console is dead now, I decided to finally go through the trouble of hacking it. Miraculously, I had the last currently hackable version of the Vita (3.68) since I haven't used it for a while. I don't know why Sony bothers to update a console they don't care about.
avatar
Patiently waiting for a death that will probably never happen.
avatar
Do not support NISA
avatar
inb4 they are fired for being too slow
avatar
At least they're far more likely to actually try than in-house NISA would've been?
avatar
Indeed. XSEED achieved their level of quality by being slow as shit. The entire reason NISA is getting these deals is their quick and dirty localization process. The ex-XSEED staff are going to end up very frustrated and with a subpar product that has their names on it.
avatar
As I just said on Twitter, familiar faces doesn't automatically equate to familiar production process. This is NISA, not XSEED. They're not obligated to run in the same manner.
avatar
Don't buy NISA games
avatar
NISA could still screw up QA or something though.
avatar
Well, it might be pirate tier as a best case scenario.
avatar
Hatsuu is confirmed to be working with NISA for Cold Steel 3.
avatar
Well, if nothing else, someone's using Title IX against that, so it might not stick. But, who knows?
avatar
Considering that "traditional" (not even toxic) masculinity is considered mentally debilitating to the American Psychological Association, SRW might be censored for being too manly for mental health reasons.
avatar
fair
avatar
Please do not support Konami
avatar
On a completely unrelated note, I wish we had more ZOE complete with naked space Ken :{
avatar
avatar
I can imagine the usual suspects getting triggered by Yoji Shinkawa's Orbital Frame designs
avatar
paranoia is understandable since all bets are off in current year
avatar
A cadre of fans who are quite low on the totem pole of "this game is X-ist—change it!" targets. At best, you'd see an assload of songs go missing given how many soundtrack houses would have to be paid for specific tunes n'shit.
avatar
Bandai would handle if content for SRW's license quagmire DID get settled, and there's hardly content that would invoke any kind of social backlash, given the series is aimed specifically at the mecha fans.
avatar
Your paranoia's showing.
avatar
>Thankfully
avatar
Thankfully, Super Robot Wars (the non-OG ones anyways) are impossible to license in the West. I haven't olayed V or X, but I heard those two had a significantly better TL than Moon Dwellers, so I'll try out T for my Switch.
avatar
Hah, knew it. I'll probably finish Trails in the Sky ar some point, though time to never touch Cold Steel. Not even mechs can get me to support NISA.
avatar
Guess we'll just have to see what happens. Either way I have a feeling its going to be a long ride. Trails of was XSEED's #2 money maker wasn't it? XSEED's current quality state is questionable with Tom gone and Hatsuu (heavily implied) being fired, but they've been doing a lot of small time stuff the past year haven't they? Losing Falcom and Senran Kagura being hit by Sony, do you think XSEED is going to survive throughout the year?
avatar
Get ready for more "Big Holes"
avatar
Also, I apologize for defending Falcom in 2017.
avatar
Even if NISA hired Hatsuu, which I really doubt, they wouldn't be able to achieve their usual level of quality because the whole point of NISA getting these games over XSEED is a quicker localization.
avatar
NISA lies all the time so I wouldn't be surprised if the staff they got were all people who got fired for incompetence.
avatar
Apparently NISA got some of the staff that's worked on past localizations. So did a bunch of XSEED leave for NISA at some point?
avatar
lol NISA got CS3
avatar
Benis.
avatar
I don't really feel like watching a lot of anime this season. The Price of Smiles is a decent real robot series though. I think it has potential a couple of episodes in.
avatar
The philosophical ramifications of whether or not a female baby of a (practically) all male species should be forced to have gender surgery probably triggerred them to all oblivion.
avatar
I started watching the Orville, despite being a casual Star Trek fan at best. It's obvious by the third episode why the critics crucified it kek.
avatar
He is close to out-BURCHing Anthony Burch
avatar
Comeupance never tasted this good before
avatar
Fuck squirm. Tha'ts checkmate. Everythingi n the papers is ground for investors to vote no confidence and boot his ass from his own company
avatar
The Randy Pitchford drama is fucking delicious. I don't even care if the allegations are true, I just enjoy watching him squirm.
avatar
1. Get Woke 2.Get accused of something 3. lose money in court or just because of controversy 4. Get Broke
avatar
hahaha pitchford burning
avatar
Atlus seems overly hesitant to get on PC. As it's an old title, it's less likely to sell than a new title, thus giving them a reason to avoid PC in the future if it sells poorly enough.
avatar
Also Catherine Vanilla, under the title, "Catherine Classic" is out on PC via Steam.
avatar
So Catherine Full Body's Japanese PSN Demo is up for PS4. Also the west will not be getting the Vita version of the game; only the PS4 version.
avatar
No kidding. The only time you see this much projection is when people have something to hide.
avatar
I wonder how many people that reviewer has raped
avatar
https://twitter.com/appabend/status/1083468986845515776 That's one way to review a controversial episode
avatar
Brilliant

>Bot spams in every forum but the one where it's allowed to
avatar
I am unaware of their quality, but I think Crunchyroll does dub stuff now.
avatar
Well I figured it'd be Funimation, but the articles don't specifically mention them. They say it was announced and will be aired on Crunchyroll, but Funi and CR split didn't they? Does that mean CR is in charge of the dubbing? Oh christ.
avatar
Who's dubbing it? I expect the dub to be filled with memes and pop culture references if it's being dubbed by Funimation. They're basically the NISA of the dubbing industry at this point.
avatar
Apparently Konosuba is just now getting an English dub. Highly doubt any of the charm the Japanese VAs gave it will be held up by the English cast.

I just wanted to come home and get dinner, not erupt into a flaming tower of ulcers, rage, and blood

Remember when people talked about anime without shoving their shitty politics in your face?
